Is MyLocalStops free?

Yes. Browsing events and posting your own are both free. We may add optional paid features later (like featured placement), but the core map, search, and route tools stay free.

Do I need an account to use it?

No. You can search, map, and build routes without signing in. To post an event you only need an email; you can post anonymously and claim it into an account later to edit anytime.

How accurate are the routes and drive times?

Routes use real road distance and driving times, and we solve the shortest loop between the stops you pick. You can toggle return-to-start and read a per-stop timeline so you know when you’ll be where.

Can I keep my home address private?

Yes. For home sales you can hide the exact address until 5 minutes before start; the map shows an approximate, offset pin until then, and uploaded photos are stripped of embedded location data.

What kinds of events can I post?

Garage, estate, moving, and community sales, plus farmers markets, flea markets, car shows and cruise-ins, craft fairs, festivals, and similar local events. Pick the category and we show the fields that fit it.
