Welcome to MyLocalStops. MyLocalStops is operated by East Lansing Auction LLC ("MyLocalStops," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of https://mylocalstops.com/, including its maps, event listings, route-planning tools, alerts, event-submission features, and related services (collectively, the "Service").
By accessing or using the Service, creating an account, or submitting an event, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
MyLocalStops helps users discover and plan visits to local events and activities, which may include garage sales, estate sales, community sales, moving or rummage sales, flea markets, farmers markets, craft fairs, car shows, festivals, and similar local events.

MyLocalStops may be offered as a beta, prototype, or developing service. Features may be added, modified, limited, or removed as the Service evolves.
You may browse publicly available portions of the Service subject to these Terms.
You must not create an account or provide personal information through the Service if you are under 13 years old. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use account, listing, or other interactive features only with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian.
If you submit an event on behalf of a business, organization, property owner, event organizer, or another person, you represent that you have authority to do so.
You do not need an account to browse events, plan routes, or submit an event. Account features are limited and may not yet be available to the general public. Where an account is offered, the following applies.
When you create an account, we ask for your name, email, and a password, and you may optionally provide a home or starting address that we use to set the default starting point for your route planning. Creating an account never requires payment or card details. You may also choose to sign in with Google instead of a password.
You agree to provide accurate and current information and to keep your account information reasonably up to date. You are responsible for activity occurring through your account and for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
You may not impersonate another person, create an account using false or misleading information, or use another person's account without permission.
If you believe your account has been accessed without authorization, contact us promptly.
If you create, submit, claim, or edit an event listing, you are responsible for the information you provide.
You agree that your listing will, to the best of your knowledge:
MyLocalStops may edit formatting, categorize listings, remove duplicate information, reject submissions, or remove listings that we reasonably believe are inaccurate, misleading, unlawful, unsafe, abusive, outdated, or inconsistent with these Terms.
We do not guarantee that every submitted event will be published or remain published.
Some event information displayed through MyLocalStops may come from event organizers, community submissions, publicly available sources, or third-party websites and services.
Publicly sourced information may be incomplete, delayed, duplicated, outdated, or incorrect. MyLocalStops does not claim ownership of third-party content merely because it is displayed or referenced through the Service.
Third-party names, trademarks, event information, photographs, and other materials remain subject to the rights of their respective owners.
If you believe information displayed through MyLocalStops is inaccurate or infringes your rights, please contact us so we can review the issue.
MyLocalStops may allow organizers of certain home-based events to delay public display of an exact street address until shortly before the event begins.
This feature is intended to provide additional privacy, but it does not guarantee anonymity or complete location privacy. Users may still be able to infer an approximate area from maps, nearby landmarks, event descriptions, publicly available information, or other sources.
If you choose to publish an event at a private residence, you are responsible for deciding what location information to provide and when it should become public.
You may use MyLocalStops for lawful personal, community, and event-related purposes.

We may implement technical measures, including rate limits and abuse controls, to protect the Service and its users.
MyLocalStops is primarily a discovery, listing, mapping, and planning platform. Unless expressly stated otherwise for a particular feature, we are not the organizer, owner, seller, vendor, ticket issuer, or operator of events displayed through the Service.
Any purchase, sale, admission, exchange, meeting, or other transaction that occurs between users, event organizers, vendors, or third parties is separate from MyLocalStops.
You are responsible for evaluating an event, location, organizer, item, price, payment method, and any other relevant circumstances before participating in a transaction or visiting a location.
We do not guarantee:
Map locations, drive times, route order, distance estimates, traffic information, and directions are provided for convenience and may rely on third-party mapping or geolocation services.
Routes may be inaccurate, unavailable, or unsuitable because of road closures, private roads, construction, weather, traffic, access restrictions, inaccurate event locations, or other conditions.
Always follow posted signs, traffic laws, property restrictions, and official directions. Do not rely on MyLocalStops as an emergency, safety, or navigation service.
MyLocalStops does not currently use artificial-intelligence tools to extract, generate, or process listing information. If we add automated or AI-assisted features in the future, the resulting information may contain errors, and you will remain responsible for reviewing a listing for accuracy before relying on or publishing it. You should not submit confidential, highly sensitive, or unlawful information into such a feature unless the Service specifically requests and is designed to handle it.
Automated alerts and notifications are not yet available and are described here for when they launch. If you choose to receive them, you are responsible for keeping your contact and preference information current.
Alerts are provided as a convenience. We do not guarantee that every relevant event will generate an alert or that a notification will arrive before an event begins, changes, or is canceled.
You may unsubscribe or disable optional notifications using the controls provided in the Service or in the applicable message.
MyLocalStops relies on third-party services to operate, including Supabase and SiteGround (hosting, database, storage), OpenFreeMap and Project OSRM (map tiles and routing), Photon by Komoot and the U.S. Census Bureau geocoder (address lookup), Cloudflare Turnstile (bot protection), Web3Forms (message delivery), content delivery networks (unpkg, jsDelivr) that serve software libraries, Ahrefs Web Analytics, and Google Fonts. The Service may also link to third-party websites and maps — for example, opening driving directions in Google Maps.
We do not control third-party websites or services and are not responsible for their availability, content, privacy practices, security, products, services, or terms.
Your use of a third-party service may be subject to that provider's own terms and privacy policy.
MyLocalStops, including its original branding, software, interface, design, organization, graphics, and original content, is owned by East Lansing Auction LLC or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Except as expressly allowed by these Terms, you may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, sell, license, or create a competing database or service from protected MyLocalStops content without permission.
Third-party event information and third-party trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.
You retain any ownership rights you have in original text, photographs, and other content you submit to MyLocalStops ("User Content").
By submitting User Content, you grant East Lansing Auction LLC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, format, display, distribute, and otherwise use that content as reasonably necessary to:
This license ends when the content is deleted from the Service, except to the extent copies must be retained for legitimate backup, legal, security, fraud-prevention, or recordkeeping purposes.
You represent that you have the rights necessary to grant this license.

By using the Service, you acknowledge that information will be handled as described in that policy.
We may restrict, suspend, remove content from, or terminate access to the Service when we reasonably believe it is necessary to:
You may stop using the Service at any time. If account-deletion functionality is available, you may use it to request deletion of your account, subject to any lawful retention requirements.
We may change, suspend, discontinue, or limit all or part of MyLocalStops at any time.
We do not guarantee that the Service, a particular feature, a saved route, a listing, or stored information will always be available. You are responsible for keeping copies of information you need outside the Service.
If paid features are introduced in the future, applicable prices, renewal terms, cancellation terms, and any additional conditions will be disclosed before you purchase them.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MYLOCALSTOPS AND THE SERVICE ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE."
EAST LANSING AUCTION LLC DISCLAIMS WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

You should independently verify important event details before traveling, making a purchase, paying admission, or relying on a listing.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, EAST LANSING AUCTION LLC AND ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AFFILIATES, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE.
This includes, without limitation, losses arising from:
To the extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you paid directly to MyLocalStops for the Service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Unless applicable law requires otherwise, disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be brought in a state or federal court with appropriate jurisdiction in Michigan, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
Nothing in these Terms prevents either party from seeking relief in a court of competent jurisdiction where such rights cannot lawfully be waived.
We may revise these Terms as MyLocalStops changes or as legal, operational, or security requirements evolve.
When we make material changes, we may provide notice through the Service, by email, or by updating the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after revised Terms become effective means you accept the revised Terms.
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our consent. We may assign these Terms as part of a merger, acquisition, restructuring, sale of assets, or similar business transaction.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any additional terms presented for a specific feature, form the agreement between you and East Lansing Auction LLC concerning your use of MyLocalStops.
